Introducing: SportsJOE’s Championship XV.
We’ve banged our heads together, wrung each other’s throats and fought for places to come up with a team of 15 of the GAA football championship so far but, now, our work is done.
The team below is just a baseline that will be changing every week.
We’ve set the template and, after each new round of games, we’ll be speaking to a high-profile GAA personality and giving them the opportunity to change the side as we go along. Their nominations will be done via social media so you can lamp the pressure on if you like.
They can take men out and replace them with new players that are impressing and, who knows, come September, whatever is left of our 15 might very just be the most democratic and unanimous team of the year. Of all time. Ever.
So, without further adieu, this right now is the current championship team of the year.
