Someone has made an absolute fortune selling their All-Ireland final ticket on eBay

It is still only a game right

Kevin McGillicuddy

If you ever wanted to know what the phrase ‘more money than sense’ means, well we may have found the answer.

Tickets for the All-Ireland Football final are rarer than hen’s teeth this week as Kerry and Dublin fans scramble to try and get their hands on entry to next week’s showdown in Croke Park.

Genuine fans are struggling, but if you  have the money it seems that the internet may have the answer to your problem s as various tickets appear to be on sale via eBay this week.

A quick look through the site this evening has thrown up ad’s like this

unreal

But those ads are mere coins down the back of a sofa compared to what an eagle eyed SportsJOE reader has sent us in this evening.

James O’Connell may just have discovered the most expensive All-Ireland tickets of all-time if this screengrab of the last second in an eBay auction is correct.

The number of bids on the tickets indicates that there was quite a price war raging over the last few days, but to pay almost €12,000 euro must be a close definition for madness.

Cheers to James O’Connell for sending this our way. If you would like to send something our way send it to editorial@sportsjoe.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
