The man at the receiving end of THAT HOOK pays his respects to the teak-tough Fenains man
JJ Delaney has called it a day for the Kilkenny hurlers and it’s no surprise that Twitter has lit up with tributes to the unbelievable defender.
Delaney’s legend was enhanced even further this year with an epic hook on Seamus Callanan in the All-Ireland final replay and the Tipperary man has shown a really classy touch with his tweet:
Best of luck to @jjdel82 on his retirement, unbelievable defender, animal in the air..and he wasn't too bad to get a hook in either 🙈 #jj

We still can’t figure out how the 9-time All-Ireland winner got anything on it at all to stop a certain goal:
Callanan wasn’t the only Tipperary man to pay tribute either with Paraic Maher also praising the veteran full-back:

Eddie Brennan also took to social media to pay his own unique tribute to an ex-teammate
JJ is gone simply the best cleverest hoor ever to pick up a hurl phenomenal player @jjdel82
