Both men are 47 years old, both men have reasonably bald heads, both men were warriors on the GAA field and both men are absolute legends of the GAA.
Rarely, however, has a comparison between the facial appearances of Anthony Daly and Vinnie Murphy been struck before.
Murphy’s daughter obviously noticed the parallels between the two men when playing her ‘Sims’ computer game.
She may have been attempting to create an image for her father in the game but what transpired was a near doppelganger of the former Clare hero.
Check out the image for yourself here.
My daughter was trying to create me on her sims computer game. I turned into Antony Daly. 😂 pic.twitter.com/HsJTCO9cGI

The Clarecastle clubman has had quite a stellar career in the GAA winning five county titles with his club, two Munster titles and two All-Ireland’s with Clare as well as two All-Stars.
He had a stint managing his native county’s in 2005 and 2006 before he lead the Dublin hurlers to their first National Hurling League title in 65 years in 2011.
He even survived a fly-attack on the Sunday Game for God’s sake. There’s no flies on Dalo… except for that one time.
But never in his wildest dreams could he have expected inclusion in one of the best-selling computer games series of all time.
For that, he has Murphy’s daughter to thank.
