Already training up the next generation.
Shortly after winning the 2015 All-Ireland senior hurling Championships with Kilkenny, Richie Power immediately began preparations for the 2030 competition.
Kilkenny defeated Galway by 1-22 to 1-18 to claim their 36th All-Ireland. After the referee sounded the final whistle and the players had collected their medals, Power shared a touching moment with his son.
The pair took the field and had a puck around on Croke Park’s sacred ground.
Beautiful moment seeing Richie Power pucking around with his son. Just your average afternoon!! #winning pic.twitter.com/isqo1vrJ6l

“What you do on Sunday?”
“Just had a puck around with my Dad after watching the match.”
As Jacqui Hurley pointed out, just your average afternoon.
