The summer is over after the Rose
Kerry people don’t tend to lack for self-promotion and that also applies to one of the county’s most famous festivals.
The Rose of Tralee gets underway next week and ahead of the launch of the festivities in the county town of the Kingdom the organisers roped in some Kerry footballers to do a photoshoot.
That would be fine in of itself except Dáithí Ó Sé is stuck in the middle of them, wearing half a tux and the rest, we hope, are regulation Kerry shorts and socks.
It’s pretty ridiculous and the looks on the Kerry players’ faces really tell the story.

Although to be fair, Dáithí does have some football pedigree, having played on under-age Gaeltacht sides with Darragh Ó Sé and Dara Ó Cinnéide
