Indentured slaves, you say?
GAA players at every level in the country are trying to get back into shape and are putting themselves through fairly gruelling fitness regimes at the moment. Some counties are doing 4am and 5am morning sessions while, for others it’s all protein this and low-carb that in their diets.
Well it seems that Cork’s Eoin Cadogan has a slightly different approach and prefers more of a homely way to his ‘strength and conditioning’ programme ahead of another inter-county season:
My Dad can't understand all this weights programs & preseason. He prefers alternative methods of training!!! pic.twitter.com/7tcgGpQ86U

Although it doesn’t seem that many of his fellow GAA players believe there is a future in farming for the Cork defender after he hangs up his boots-including his own brother:
@cads3 Your technique is shocking😃you no that you haven't done this in a while👌

We’ve leave the last word to Liam Watson of Antrim who might be able to lift the burden from Eoin’s back if this tweet is anything to go by:
@cads3 have a man buy few of them bad boys behind you….

Sure it beats a day in the gym anyway doesn’t it,with the fresh air and the smell of cow-shite to help you pump up the guns.
