The vultures are already fighting over the bones of the dead carcass.
Maybe Kerry people need a reality check.
Perhaps throwing out lines like, “Kerry have only won one All-Ireland in the last nine” means absolutely nothing because Dublin won five of those eight so far.
Dublin are far superior to Kerry. Donegal would’ve beaten anyone in 2012 and only Cork and Kerry have managed the same feats this decade.
It’s too easy for Kerry people to sit on their perch of history and declare that they expect more. They take pride in being able to say that any year they don’t win Sam, it’s a failure, but that’s something they’re going to have to get use to.
Football has changed. Physically, mentally, tactically, it’s a different game and, to date, the Kingdom haven’t looked in any way likely to catch up with the heights Dublin brought it to.
The four teams remaining in the All-Ireland football championship are the four best teams in Ireland but that didn’t stop Pat Spillane feasting over Éamonn Fitzmaurice’s body – despite Kerry actually winning on Saturday.
‘Eamonn Fitzmaurice has been a failure for the past four years’ – Pat Spillane says history may be kind on the former Kerry manager, but that the time is right to move on #SundayGame pic.twitter.com/2VzA5Rxik5

The Kerry native unloaded on The Sunday Game with a barrage of intangible points, like Kerry don’t have a system and Kerry demands more.
He criticised Fitzmaurice for not playing last year’s minors sooner and he didn’t like that the manager tried to adapt for each challenge.
He went harder and harder for two minutes with Des Cahill never going to offer much of a counter argument and, for those two minutes, a man who has been representing Kerry since he was a minor in 1994 was torn asunder.
A man who has given 24 years to his county, won the All-Ireland as a player and manager, was vilified on national television.
So, why doesn’t Pat put his money where his big mouth is?

If #spillane knows the reasons for the incumbents failure, and understands the demands of his own ‘animals’, why doesn’t he step forward and manage @Kerry_Official and foster the environment for current generation to earn the right to wear the jersey ..
