Monaghan are through to the Ulster final, largely thanks to an outrageous score from Jack McCarron.
With the game nearing full-time and Derry up by a point, the Farney star stepped up at the touchline with the dreams of a county resting on his shoulders.
From a tight angle, he nailed a sublime cut through the posts to send the epic game to extra-time, after his side had been 12 points down at one stage.
Extra-time was nail biting as well and it took a late two-point free-kick from Rory Beggan to seal the game by 1-30 to 3-23 at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh.
After the game, Beggan said: "The referee corrected himself [after the hooter]. I backed Jack [McCarron] every day of the week with the outside of the left.
"We've won nothing. We have an Ulster final to play now in Clones. First time since 2015 that we are back in Clones on Ulster final day. That kick just gets us there. There are bigger ones to hit in the final."
