This is an early contender for GAA jersey of the year.
Meath have launched their new jersey, and it might even be an upgrade on last year’s effort.
The Royals launched the new kit on Monday evening, and Tayto Park is no longer the sponsor.
Devenish Nutrition is now on the front of the jersey, which is darker in tone than last year’s kit.
We ranked Meath’s 2016 effort as the best GAA jersey of last year, so the pressure was on for this year’s edition.
We reckon they’ve stepped up to the task, and should be near the top when we rank the new batch of GAA jerseys.
However, we’re not sure if it’s better than Sligo’s new jersey, but an impressive effort nonetheless.
