LISTEN: The GAA Hour with Colm Parkinson

SportsJOE

No games this weekend but a massive show all the same.

We have an exclusive interview with GAA Director General Paraic Duffy to discuss his proposed restructuring of the Championship with a ‘Champions League’ format coming in in place of the quarter-final stage.

Duffy’s proposal has been met with mixed reaction after he unveiled it last week and Wooly gives him a grilling on some of the areas that have come in for the most criticism.

Former referee Pat McEaney is on the line to talk about how ref’s deal with incitement and sledging, and we discuss the scandal that has engulfed Tipperary football ahead of their biggest match in 81 years.
