It’s Kilkenny v Tipperary for a fifth All-Ireland final in eight years, but that doesn’t tell half the story.
The Cats are returning to Croker on the first Sunday in September in search of a three-in-a-row but only after a fascinating and nail-biting replay victory over Waterford in Thurles on Saturday.
They will meet their old foes Tipperary after the Premier County gained revenge on Galway for their defeat at the same stage last year.
However both teams have questions to answer in the next three weeks, according to the lads on the GAA Hour Hurling Show.
As always Colm Parkinson is joined on Monday by JJ Delaney, Damien Hayes and Mikey Stafford. The lads question Mick Ryan’s gamble on not starting Bubble O’Dwyer, Tipperary’s faltering midfield, Brian Cody’s gambles and Austin Gleeson’s likeness to Steven Gerrard.
There are also interviews with Colin Fennelly, Dan Shanahan and Michael Breen.
It wouldn’t be Monday without the GAA Hour. Listen below or subscribe here on iTunes.
