Lee Keegan has won the Footballer of the Year award for 2016, and the decision divided opinion among those on Twitter.
The Mayo man collected his award at the All-Star ceremony in Dublin on Friday evening.
Earlier this week, the 2016 All-Star football team was named.
All-Ireland football champions Dublin dominated the team with six players from Jim Gavin’s side included. Four players from beaten finalists Mayo were also included.

In the individual awards, Mayo’s Diarmuid O’Connor was been named the Young Footballer of the Year, for the second time.
The Young Hurler of the Year and the Hurler of the Year awards were both won by Austin Gleeson.
