Kerry spring exciting surprise in frightening team to face Galway

Kerry have named one hell of a team for their senior football All-Ireland clash against Galway.

Eamonn Fitzmaurice has made two changes to the side that defeated Cork to claim the Munster championship. midfielder Jack Barry and centre-half-forward and captain Johnny Buckley both making their returns to the starting side.

Johnny Buckley comes into the starting XV in place of the injured Kevin McCarthy while Jack Barry comes in at centre-half-forward as Anthony Maher drops to the bench.

22-year-old Barry’s first start of the championship is an exciting prospect for the Kingdom. The genuine star at minor and U21 level featured in the games against Cork and Claire off the bench, but coming into the starting XV at this juncture should get Kerry fans excited.

Kerry face Galway in the first of two quarter-finals on Sunday while 2016 All-Ireland runners-up Mayo take on Connacht champions Roscommon in the later game.
