Everyone and their dog had Kerry to take home their 40th All-Ireland title against Mayo this afternoon.
And they looked to be heading for an easy win, when they went 1-05 to 0-01 in front after just 16 minutes.
But from then on, it was the Green and Red who were on top for the rest of the game, and a lot of their dominance can be traced back to Jack Carney's two-pointer in the 17th minute.
At the time it felt like a massive score, as it was their first points in ten minutes, and it gave them the momentum and confidence to play their own, fearless game.
After the match, both Andy Moran and Jack O'Connor spoke about this moment and the impact it had for his county.
Mayo boss Moran said: "Massive, Jack Carney's two-pointer.... Jack to kick the two-pointer and then all of a sudden it took off.
"Ryan got a two-pointer and then all of a sudden we're at five points instead of one and the game is on."
Kerry manager O'Connor shared similar sentiments.
He said: "Yeh we started well, I think we went 1-05 to a point up and we just got a bit careless then, the next four attacks, we had a couple of bad wides and maybe dropped one short.
"Mayo went down and kicked a two-pointer which gave them a bit of belief, so suddenly they were back in the game, Carney kicked a two-pointer.
