Them Kerry lads are after getting fierce fancy when celebrating an All-Ireland win
Not content with often being the trend setters on the field Kerry GAA has now come up with a novel approach to celebrating their latest September success.
As well as being presented with Celtic Cross medals, Kieran Donaghy proposed that players receive an NFL style Championship medal like this:
The county executive agreed and they commissioned 49 rings for all the players and the backroom staff who were involved in the win over Donegal.
John Ross Jewellers in Tralee were tasked with the design and the rings were presented to each player at a function in Kerry last weekend:
Thanks @johnrossjewellers and @kellihersgarage for sponsoring the fab hand crafted rings for us last night. #classy pic.twitter.com/2EchPJOCbP

Henry Shefflin is probably hoping they don’t introduce them in Kilkenny or he won’t be able to lift a cup of tea with the amount of bling on his hands.
