It just makes sense
There was some worry that the Munster football final replay was not going to be available to the public on our telly boxes because of the time the game was set for on July 18th.
The match was fixed for 7pm once again in Killarney, but because SKY already have committed to showing a football qualifier that evening, and RTE don’t normally have rights to games at that time, it looked like there may be a blackout on the game.
Sure we’d still have the radio and that’s nearly as good, but you’d still like to be able to see the two rivals and neighbours knock lumps out of each other.
And thankfully now you will be able to, as RTE has confirmed that the game will be shown on live TV and we’ll have the pleasure of Darragh Maloney, Colm O’Rourke and Joe Brolly for the evening from 6.30pm.
However some Kerry fans have revealed other more pressing concerns than the game on Saturday July 18th, such as fading light and who’ll be listening to a wedding speech while the game is on,
Decisions decisions.
