Back to back All-Ireland finals on TG4.
All-Ireland final weekend truly is something special, but when you have two back to back, right after one another, well then, it’s just a good day all around.
Ballyhale Shamrocks take on Ballygunner in the All-Ireland senior club hurling final at 3pm on TG4, in what is sure to be a thriller.
That is followed by the All-Ireland senior club football final, as the kingpins of Down take on the Dublin champs at Croke Park.
This will technically make it back to back finals for Kilcoo who were last there in 2019, with the 2020 campaign void through COVID, while Kilmacud Crokes last won the competition in 2009.
The hurling National League then takes up the rest of the weekend, starting straight after the club finals with champions Limerick taking on Henry Shefllin’s Galway.
The ladies take the reigns with Donegal and Galway showcasing their talents in the Division 1 ladies football league and Sunday is pretty much wall to wall hurling.
Clare v Wexford, Offaly v Cork, and Tipp v Kilkenny will be your entertainment for the day, rounded up by the Allianz League Sunday GAA highlights at 9.30pm on RTE 2.
