James Carr has announced himself as a major threat for Mayo with two goals in the opening 10 minutes of their round four All-Ireland qualifier against Galway.
Carr pounced on a poor mistake from Bernard Power but there was no slice of luck with his second goal a few minutes later, picking the ball up out wide, driving past multiple players and belting the ball into the top left corner to cap off a remarkable solo effort.

Carr was a late addition for forward Ciaran Treacy before the game and only broke into the senior team this year after previously winning an All-Ireland U21 medal with Mayo.
He made his intercounty debut as a substitute against Monaghan in the league and started the division 1 final win over Kerry in March, scoring a goal.
He made his championship debut against New York alongside Matthew Ruane and James McCormack and certainly looks an extremely talented prospect for the future.
