Sure enough France walloped the Italians 8-22 to 0-5. That’s eight goals and 22 points.
But the historic first ever Italian point in Gaelic football went to the impressively named Duke Vincenzo or ‘The Duke’ as we like to call him.

Earlier the French women’s team also thrashed the Italians, this time a more respectable 5-14 to 2-4.
Still, as these pictures show, a good time was had by all.
