Every GAA match on TV this weekend including one unmissable showdown in Ulster

Lee Costello

It’s the drama Mick, I just love it.

We have every single GAA match on TV this weekend compiled into a tidy list for you, and of course it includes a particularly tasty tie up in Ulster.

This Sunday we will see Mickey Harte’s Derry face off against Tyrone for the first time since the Errigal Ciaran man left his position as manager of his native county following 20 years of service.

Not only will Harte be in the opposite dugout to where he normally stands, but he will be kitted out in Derry gear, as he manages the nearest rivals of the Red Hand county – honestly when you sit and think about it, it really is nuts.

Tyrone have historically been dominant in this fixture over the past two decades, however the Oakleaf county are the team with all of the momentum now, winning back to back Ulster titles and leading the charge from the north.

With about seven different plot twists and narratives surrounding this fixture, make sure it’s scheduled, circled and underlined in your calendar this weekend.

Before that though, we have another blockbuster fixture that has brought us some of the greatest games in living memory over the past decade as All-Ireland winners Dublin take on Mayo under the lights this Saturday night.

It’s almost too much for the old ticker to handle and we haven’t even mentioned the hurling yet which finally makes a comeback this weekend.
