What a show of sportsmanship from these fine young men.
If you have been involved in team sports before, then you would have experienced the various different atmospheres that are felt within the dressing room.
At times, it can be euphoric, at other times it is utter despair. The mood in a dressing room can ultimately decide what shape you leave the place in.
Last season the Armagh team were highly praised after they gave the Thurles dressing room a good scrub down after knocking Tipperary out of the championship.

Say what you want about showing respect to your opposition. It is an easy thing to do when you have that euphoric feeling of winning a hard-fought championship match.
What says more about a group of players is showing respect in times of despair. That is exactly what the young hurlers of Eoghan Rua did.
The Derry club’s u14 side lost to Castledawson in a hard-fought championship game last night. Rather than throwing tantrums, these young men decided to leave their dressing room cleaner than they found it.

These stars of the future are an absolute credit to their club Eoghan Rua as well as the county of Derry.
