Such was the fanfare around Kobe McDonald this season and his upcoming move to Australia to play AFL, fans could be forgiven to not realise that one of his Mayo teammates is also his half-brother.
Both McDonald and Jordan Flynn were named on the Sunday Game's Team of the Year, and they both share the same mother.
During the coverage of Sunday's All-Ireland final, they were sometimes being referred to as brothers, but some presumed it was more of a 'brother in arms' relationship.
Furthermore, Flynn has another half-brother, Dylan, who plays for the Mayo U20s.
Their father, Peader Flynn, also played for Crossmolina, winning the county title with them in 1995 - their first since 1949.
After Sunday's game, an emotional Jordan Flynn spoke about what it meant to lift the trophy with Kobe.
He said: "To be honest like, I suppose this year at the the start of the year, I was kind of humming and hawing as to whether I'd commit again, there's a lot of stuff going on outside of football that people probably don't see.
"But when Kobe decided to commit, we said obviously he's going soon so we were like we'll give it one crack and see what happens.
"The feeling to get to go up and lift it with him, it's a feeling we'll never forget, it's something that we'll hold forever. That'll never be taken away from us."
