Gas craic altogether.
Cuala are the first ever Dublin side to be crowned AIB All-Ireland club hurling champions following their sensational performance in Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day.
The Dalkey outfit showed everyone they were more than worthy of the favourites tag by scoring a dominant 2-19 to 1-10 victory over Ballyea. Colm Cronin and Jake Malone bagged the goals for the Dubliners while Niall Deasy got the singular goal for the Munster champions.
After such a long wait for the trophy, the scenes at full time were as incredible as you would expect them to be with the Cuala ‘ultras’ letting their voices be heard.

An incredible achievement, and the day will live long in the memory for Cuala fans and indeed, anyone who watched the game.
However, this sport, and as much as we like to appreciate talent, hard work and dedication in triumph, us sports fans never pass up an opportunity to crack wise.
There was low-hanging fruit of a South Dublin side winning the title, and plenty of people were ready to grab it after the final whistle, namely Richie Hogan, who lead the charge.
