Safe to say defences were on top!
Another summer, another battle for the soul of Gaelic football.
Blanket defence, stifling tactics, structural reform. Once again these are all talking points as we head for August.
Sure, there have been some fiercely contested games this summer, but those who see all that’s wrong with the game tend to shout loudest.
And their cries are sure to be given amplification by a scoreline in Division 1 of the Donegal Club Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Because the game between Glenswilly and Naomh Ádhamhnáin/St Eunan’s finished with a grand total of FIVE scores.
Five!
The match finished with a scoreline of… drumroll please….
Glenswilly 0-3 Naomh Ádhamhnáin/St Eunan’s 0-2
Unsurprisingly people are saying that the end is nigh.
Score line in Donegal Club game ends 3-2 holy god the end has arrived ah well it was fun while it lasted!!!
