Tin foil hats at the ready, this is going to get weird.
Someone in Port Laoise is apoplectic about the design of the All-Ireland medal.
A poster has been spotted in the county town of Laoise which harshly criticises the GAA over their design of those coveted little circles of metal.
According to the poster, the lack of the Harp symbol on the newer medals somehow lessens their value. The argument being that it is somehow not a real All-Ireland competition because the GAA logo is now emblazoned on the award instead of the Irish national emblem.
We’ve tried contacting the illuminati to get a response, but they were unavailable for comment. I think today’s the day they play five-a-side.
As conspiracy theories go, this is a bit odd. Haven't heard of too many players handing back their medals in protest. pic.twitter.com/2i364oRpd4
