Colm Cooper and Paul Galvin could make their returns for Kerry against Tyrone this weekend

Kerry mean business.

The All-Ireland champions travel to Omagh this Sunday for a relation shoot-out with Tyrone, and they look to mean business, with both Paul Galvin and Colm Cooper included in the matchday squad.

Cooper hasn’t played for either club or county since tearing his ACL in February of 2014, while Galvin is yet to feature to the Kingdom since making his return to the panel four weeks ago.

However, with Sunday’s game being win or bust against Mickey Harte’s men, Eamonn Fitzmaurice has drafted the pair onto the substitutes bench.

Should they make an appearance this Sunday, it will be the first time they’ve shared a pitch in the county colours since the 2013 All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin.

While Cooper togged out with the team for the All-Ireland semi-final and final last year, it was merely a ceremonial gesture for the Dr Crokes man, and there was never any intention to play him.

For the starting team, however, Fitzmaurice has made three changes from the side that lost to Monaghan last weekend.

Brendan Kealy comes in between the sticks, with Brian Kelly dropping to the bench. Paul Murphy returns after injury at corner back in place of Pa Kilkenny, and Bryan Sheehan also comes back in the absence of Paul Geaney.

Kerry: B Kealy, P Murphy, M Griffin, S Enright, J Lyne, P Crowley, K Young, A Maher, D Moran, A Fitzgerald, B Sheehan, J Buckley, S O’Brien, K Donaghy, BJ Keane.
