Oh Kilkenny GAA, don’t ever change.
Down on Noreside, there is only one sport that rules, and it isn’t Gaelic football.
Previously senior inter-county hurlers have admitted that they use football as a ‘pre’ pre-season for their hurling exploits that normally stretch past summer into autumn.
The club hurling season in the county is a few weeks away yet, so players awakening from their winter slumber could be forgiven for forgetting some of the more basic rules of the bigger ball game.
RTE’s Damien Tiernan witnessed such an episode last weekend, when he overheard one of the best player-manager queries of all time, after a sideline ball was called.
Snr cb football match in Kilkenny last weekend; first ball went over sideline, player shouted to manager, "Do I throw it or kick it?" #fact

Damien wasn’t willing to name and shame last night, but seeing as there were only four senior club championship games, we’re going to just put up the results, and let you decide yourself.
If anyone wants to name and shame, feel free to contact via Snapchat.
