Donegal club side St Michael’s made the semi-finals of their underage competition without the pie-eyed help of a sun-bothered umpire.

Be warned, the language coming from the Carrickmore supporters on the sidelines is NSFW. Jerome Quinn, who captured the footage, commented, ‘See the worst piece of umpiring of 2014 at the Paul McGirr Memorial Ulster Under-16 Club Champions competition… though, to be fair, the sun was in the umpire’s eyes and it was a close-range, low shot.’

Quinn joked that the umpire may get the Mark Clattenburg treatment be stood down this weekend.
