This makes perfect sense.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed for Manchester United, and it’s safe to assume Old Trafford will be shook up by his arrival. The 34-year-old has made his mark everywhere he’s been, scoring goals, generating headlines and winning titles.
Ibrahimovic was certainly pleased with his impact at Paris Saint-Germain.

Zlatan was unveiled as a United player on Friday without a shirt number.

However, Kitbag.com, a UK sports retailer, have the new United away jersey on sale, with Ibrahimovic’s jersey sporting the number nine – Anthony Martial’s current squad number.
There’s yet to be an official announcement from United regarding next season’s squad numbers, and it’s possible the retailer are making an educated guess regarding the player’s number, but it would make perfect sense.
Martial wears number 11 for France, plays wide-left and would be a more worthy inheritor of Ryan Giggs’ old squad number than Adnan Januzaj, the current United 11.
While Zlatan, as the team’s centre-forward, would be ideal to wear number nine.
Ibrahimovic wore number 10 at PSG, but we doubt Wayne Rooney would be willing to part with his squad number.
