Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury looks very nasty

Does not look good

The Swedish striker left the pitch on a stretcher.

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is potentially facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining what looks like a very serious knee injury during United’s Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht.

The Swedish striker was having an uncharacteristically poor game in front of goal against the Belgium side, but he had to be stretchered off after sustaining what appears to be an extremely serious knee injury.

Since arriving from PSG this summer, Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals in all competitions.

Regarding tonight’s match, United took the lead thanks to Mkhitaryan’s opener but an away goal from Sofiane Hanni has forced the game into extra-time.

Here’s hoping that Ibrahimovic’s injury isn’t as serious as it appears below.

United’s next three league fixtures are Burnley (A), Man City (A) and Swansea (H).
