He'll be back

Lukaku beware.

Just when it all looked over, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be rejoining Manchester United.

The Swedish forward took the Premier League by storm last season when he went on to score 17 league goals before getting injured in the Europa League.

It was devastating, really, for the 35-year-old as this looked like his last hurrah, Manchester United was the last conquest.

The former Barcelona striker was released at the end of the season after suffering anterior and posterior cruciate ligament damage and it looked to be the end but maybe not.

The Times is reporting that Ibrahimovic could well stay at Old Trafford after Mourinho’s latest comments.

Speaking on his pre season tour Mourinho hinted that the Swede could be back.

“We spent big money on a striker because, with strikers, you either spend [big] or you don’t get,” he said. “And we spent because of what happened to Zlatan and we cannot allow ourselves to be without an important, strong striker for the first six months of the season.”

Mourinho evidently teased at having another world class striker in six months and it could very well mean the resigning of Ibrahimovic.
