Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered a nasty looking injury on Thursday night
Ibrahimovic left the pitch at the end of normal time during Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-final second leg.
The Swedish striker appeared to seriously hurt his knee when landing, after attempting to control a pass on his chest.
It looked as though he hyperextended his knee.

Jose Mourinho wasn’t too hopeful about his talisman’s injury following the game, and it appears Mourinho’s pessimism was justified.
The club is yet to make an official announcement about Zlatan’s condition, but, according to Sky Sports News, the 35-year-old won’t play again this season.

If Ibrahimovic does miss the rest of the season, United will be without their top scorer this season for a massive month for the club.
Mourinho’s side have games against Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur coming up as they attempt to qualify for the Champions League.
They also have a Europa League semi-final against Celtic Vigo, while the final is in Stockholm, Sweden, Zlatan’s home country. The Friends Arena, which will host the final on May 24, even has a statue of Ibrahimovic outside it.
Ibrahimovic’s contract expires in the summer. If the 35-year-old does not sign a new deal, Thursday’s game against Anderlecht could be his last for the Manchester club.
Zlatan scored 28 goals in 46 games this season before his injury.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been involved in 37 goals across all competitions for Man Utd this season.
