Zlatan Ibrahimovic drops his biggest hint yet about Premier League move

Shaping up

Zlatan Ibrahimovic can’t do the business against Premier League teams. Except when he can.

Most football fans have come to their senses that the Swedish striker is a great talent and not a top-level fraud, but some still need convincing that he can perform in the Premier League.

Thankfully, we may soon get to find out first-hand, as the PSG frontman has made a very strong suggestion that he is England-bound.

Ibrahimovic is out of contract in the summer, and has 18 months to fill before a rumoured move to David Beckham’s Miami MLS team.

Manchester United have been linked with the player in the past, and the links are gathering pace once more after the veteran told the Daily Mirror: “big things will happen” this summer.

His response to Premier League talks were cryptic yet confident, with the striker saying: “Let’s just say I am in shape for it.”

First thing’s first, though, Ibrahimovic has unfinished business in Paris. PSG hold a 2-1 lead from the first leg of their Champions League meeting with Chelsea, and are fourth-favourites to win the tournament behind Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
