Yaya Toure might find himself in an awkward spot after his agent blasts Pep Guardiola’s record

Totes awkward

Pep Guardiola won’t give a sh*t  what anyone thinks.

Yaya Toure has loads of money so we’re not too worried for his future, but it’s still a bit weird to see one of Manchester City’s key players have his agent slate the club’s incoming manager.

Toure would have worked with Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, but there is obviously lots of bad blood there as his agent has lashed out in a bizarre attack on the man who led Barcelona to incredible success, and seems to have carried his Midas touch to Bayern Munich.

Guardiola has only failed in Europe with the German champions, yet Toure’s representative reckons the ‘Bald One’ is a very over-rated coach

Dimitri Seluk thinks the Spaniard mostly lucky to have worked with talented teams, and does not have real managerial talent.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror he explained how poorly he rates the former midfielder in the dugout

“Pep is a great coach. But he has won the title at Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The truth is that my grandfather would win the title with Barcelona and Bayern Munich because they are big clubs with great players.”

“I’d like to see Pep take a club that is eighth or ninth and make them champions. That’s why Roberto Mancini was the best manager City have had.”

“Manuel Pellegrini is also a good coach who deserves credit, but Mancini built the team. He took a team that was nowhere and made them champions.”

Toure was shipped out of the Camp Nou in 201 to Manchester City, and has been one of the club’s key players in their two title winning campaigns since.

Guardiola is likely to revamp the Manchester City squad and it seems that Toure’s agent has his mind made up already that his client is heading for the exit door.
