Furious Willo Flood lost the plot after he was sent off for Dundee United

Can't contain his anger

Livingston have the advantage after the first leg of their Premiership play-off semi-final with Dundee United.

Taking the lead through Raffaele De Vita after two minutes at Tannadice, the visitors were pegged back within a minute by Thomas Mikkelsen’s volley and fell behind before the half-hour mark as Anthony Ralston’s deflected shot put United 2-1 up. However, Josh Mullin and Scott Pittman scored within the final 15 minutes to give them a 3-2 lead ahead of the return on Friday night.

To make matters worse for United, they will be without captain Willo Flood in the second leg after he was sent off for two yellow cards late on.

Flood, who began his career with Manchester City, was fouled near the edge of his own area towards the full-time whistle. Already on a yellow by this stage, the 33-year-old was eager to take the free-kick. With Livingston’s players attempting to delay his taking of the set piece, he reacted by shoving Shaun Byrne – enough for the referee to show him a second yellow.

Clearly unhappy at the decision, the Dubliner was seen shouting at the bench as he made his way to the changing room, also pushing one of the cameras covering the game.
