The game has been delayed until 8.30.
West Ham fans are saying goodbye to the Boleyn ground tonight, and rival fans are also waving goodbye to the stadium.
The East End grounds was always an intimidating place for any supporters and fans to visit, and tonight ugly scenes were spotted outside the grounds as Manchester United made their way into the heart of east London.
Their Premier League game was due to kick off a 7.45 pm, but according to Sky Sports, the Manchester United team bus was ‘hemmed in’ by West Ham fans, and despite being just 100 yards from the grounds, they were unable to move until more police assistance arrived.
Video footage has since emerged that allegedly shows the team put being pelted by bottles on its way into the ground.
