Fofana had one last message for Leicester
Wesley Fofana has fired a parting shot at Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City following confirmation of his move to Chelsea.
Fofana has joined the two-time European champions for a fee of £69.5m, according to The Athletic, and has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Leicester had been keen to keep the Frenchman at the club after he had signed a five-year extension to his contract at the Foxes back in March, but the 21-year-old signalled his intention to leave in order to make his dream move.
The talented defender missed Leicester’s last three games – one of them against Chelsea – and had been training with the development squad after failing to turn up to a training session in order to push through a move to west London.

After the news that the deal had been completed, Fofana posted a message of thanks to the club and its supporters on Instagram.
He also used the opportunity to take one last dig at the way the Foxes had handled the transfer and, in particular, aimed the comment at his former boss. He said:
“I chose not to communicate during this transfer window despite all the criticism and all the often false and misleading comments, even when they were coming from the club. I understood and I learned.
“I didn’t want to damage the image of the institution and I chose to take it rather than answer. I thank Top for his understanding, thanks to the managers, to the coach who has always appreciated me, even if he chose to expose me a lot lately… I got it coach.”

Fofana could make his debut for Chelsea in their game against fellow London rivals West Ham United on Saturday.
Leicester meanwhile are reportedly close to confirming the signing of defender Wout Faes from French side Reims to replace Fofana.
