It looks like Sergio Ramos was hustling Manchester United to get a better contract.
The Spaniard had been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, but all that talk has been firmly put to bed after has he penned a new five-year contract with Real Madrid.
Manchester United had a £28.6m bid for the 29-year-old defender rejected in June, just as his contract negotiations at the Bernabeu had stalled.
However, despite it appearing as though everything worked out swimmingly for the Madrid captain, he claims that money was never an issue when he was working out the terms of his presumably lucrative new deal.

Methinks the defender doth protest too much.
