Earth to Lionel Messi
We’d love to see who Juventus have decided will play the role of Lionel Messi this week in training, as they try and figure out a way to stop the Argentine next Saturday night.
Barcelona and the Italian champions clash in the Champions League final in Berlin later this week, and trying to stop the Argentine is number one priority for the Serie A side.
One man who will have to try and repel not only Messi, but his other team-mates, is Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
The Italian legend has never faced Messi before, and he has summed up what his team will need to happen for them to be successful in one fantastic soundbite
‘Messi is an alien, that dedicates himself to playing with humans. The only hope is that this Saturday he will be from earth, like rest of us.’
After that incredible goal against athletic Bilbao on Saturday night we don’t think we can disagree.
Someday we wouldn’t be surprised if we see Messi beamed down onto the pitch instead of coming out of the tunnel.
