Where the hell is Robbie Keane?
LA Galaxy fans, we used to like you.
You call him the king. You revere him like you should. But when it comes to printing names at the back of your jerseys, you won’t back up your love of Robbie Keane with your money.
The MLS MVP, the champions’ skipper, the goal-winning hero of the championship game doesn’t feature in the top 10 list of MLS jerseys.
But Bradley Wright-Phillips does.
We get that there would be some Gerrard mania for the Liverpool legend’s first season in America but when we see names like Brek Shea and Mix Diskerud ahead of Robbie bloody Keane, we are not one bit happy.
Clint Dempsey tops the list and, again, we can make our peace with an American legend doing so. But to have no Robbie there is just blasphemy.
