Winston Reid must be the most intimidating person with the least intimidating sounding name since Wesley Snipes.
West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell is expected to be out for the next four months after he was on the receiving end of an abysmal challenge from Karlsruher SC midfielder Grischa Promel during a preseason friendly.
The 21-year-old German went flying into Cresswell with his studs up going for a loose ball and upon impact, the West Ham player went crashing down to the ground while clutching his knee in agony.
Promel tried to play on, taking hold of possession, but was then floored by an incensed Mark Noble. The game was brought to a halt as the Hammers swarmed Promel.
Winston Reid was particularly fired up as he marched towards the player, shouting aggressively and grabbing the back of his neck to let him know exactly how he felt about the foul, which only warranted a yellow card according to the official.
West Ham ended up beating the German Bundesliga 2 side 3-0 with goals coming from Andy Carroll, Sofiane Feghouli and Ashley Fletcher.
