We have this on repeat here at SportsJOE.
Three goals in the space of eight first half minutes sent Norwich on their way to an emphatic 5-1 victory over sorry Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.
Wes Hoolahan, played a key role in his side’s victory, setting up Josh Murphy for Norwich’s second goal before two minutes later, putting the ball into the back of the net himself, which could easily be considered one of the strikes of the season.
We are well familiar with Hoolahan’s ability as a creative midfielder, often excelling in that number ten role which gives him licence to do what he does best, create.
However, he is also capable of some truly stunning goals.
Irish fans will of course be familiar with this, especially when you recall Hoolahan’s goal for Ireland against Sweden at the European Championships last summer.
Well he added another one to the list today when the ball was headed down to him about 30 yards out from goal.
One touch and BAM.
Hoolahan caught the goalkeeper napping and sent the ball over his head and into the net.
Incredible.
What a hit! 😮 @FAIreland international and @NorwichCityFC's Wes Hoolahan spots the goalkeeper off his line and produces a stunning finish. pic.twitter.com/qXSXguUIxD
