Tahitian goalkeeper Mickael Roche is set to become the latest obscure footballer-turned-cewebrity, but for all the wrong reasons. The 33-year-old shot-stopper will be held up as a shining example of why goalkeepers, no matter what level they’re playing at, should never have a lapse in concentration… not even for a split second.
That’s exactly what happened to poor Roche who, in an inexplicable moment of madness during a recent match, pulled off one of the greatest own goals in the history of the beautiful game. Check it out below.
