Sunderland midfielder Callum McManaman scored a 96th minute equaliser to rescue a 3-3 draw for the Black Cats against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
McManaman knocked home a corner at the back post to secure a much needed point for Sunderland, and instead of running towards the corner flag to celebrate, or just about anywhere else on the pitch for that matter, the 26-year-old sprinted up the pitch and immediately ran towards his former manager Tony Pulis.

McManaman was Pulis’ first signing when he was manager of West Brom, however, the winger played just 20 Premier League games over two seasons at the Hawthorns.
When asked about why McManaman made a point to goad him after his goal, the Middlesbrough boss cited a lack of game at West Brom, and seemingly every other club the player has moved to thereafter.
Tony Pulis responds with… "He was disappointed when he was at West Brom because I didn't pick him. He went to Sheff Wed on loan & they didn't pick him. Now he's here & they don't pick him."

Chris Coleman responds with… "I thought he was running to me, that was a bit embarrassing. I got blanked. I didn't know the history between them."

Despite the draw, Sunderland remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship table with just five wins from 34 matches.
