Seven different scorers got in on the act in what turned out to be an absolute hammering but it was this cracker from Stuart Armstrong that stood out as the pick of the bunch.
After collecting a low cross, Armstrong turned on a sixpence and walloped a half-volley into the top corner to make it 4-0 before youngsters Patrick Roberts, Ryan Christie and Jack Aitchison compounded Motherwell’s afternoon.
