You could be forgiven for writing off Radamel Falcao after his struggles in the Premier League.
The Colombian forward struggled to make an impact at either Manchester United and Chelsea, and many felt his injuries had finally caught up with him for good.
But Falcao has laughed at that idea this season, returning to parent club Monaco after those two loan spells and proceeding to score at will.
He made it 21 goals in 26 games with a special brace against Manchester City in the Champions League. He made sure we all remembered that he’s alive. And that he’s a class act.
Stooping to head past Willy Caballero for his first, he finished off an unbelievable cross.

Some were quick to point to his inability to make an impact in England.
Falcao rinsed tons of money from Chelsea and Man United, now he's flummoxing Man City with a lovely goal

Others, meanwhile, were just amazed to see that he is still able to play at this level at all.

It’s good to see him back fit and firing, that’s for sure.

It’s been a while since he got in the scoresheet in Manchester.
Radamel Falcao last scored in Manchester for United v Leicester in January 2015. That was only his third in his former home city.

But it might not be the last time.
It is entirely conceivable that Falcao matches his previous record for goals scored in Manchester tonight…

United fans were loving it, that’s for sure.
United legend Radamel Falcao doing the business against City, I see.
