It’s been a pretty good Friday so far for the Boys In Green.
Ireland got off to the best start possible in their Good Friday friendly against Switzerland in the Aviva Stadium.
The Boys In Green took the lead just two minutes into the mach thanks to a header from Ciaran Clark.
Robbie Brady whipped in a beautifully weighted corner deep into the Swiss box which was met by the noggin of Shane Duffy. The centre back did well to guide it towards goal where Clark was able to nod it past Yann Sommer and fire Ireland 1-0 up.
2: GOAL!
IRELAND 1-0 Switzerland.
