Jake Humphrey, pick on someone your own size.
The BT Sport host must have been holding on to some resentment after Twitter turned on him last night as he was pulling no punches on Saturday afternoon.
Humphrey was joined by Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves on the Britannia Stadium pitch ahead of Stoke v Manchester City and the presenter found the time to have a dig at Owen’s time with the Potters before throwing back to the studio.
Owen, who scored just once in his eight games as a Stoke player, had just given a breakdown about what Mark Hughes needed to do to get Stoke to kick on.

Humphrey responded by: “A few years ago, they thought they’d signed an international quality striker… It wasn’t to be.”
Poor ol’ Micky O could only smile and nod as he’s not exactly known for having a way with words.
