It’s a good thing these two weren’t on duty when Luke Shaw suffered his horrific injury last month.
A play went down injured for Ergotelis, a team in Greece’s second division, and required a stretcher to leave the pitch. However, he probably would’ve been better walking off the field, because this is like a scene a Laurel and Hardy film.
First, they struggle to raise the stretcher with the player on-board, with the ‘medic’ at the player’s feet slipping. They then get the poor injured soul off the pitch, and drop him to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
The ‘medic’ on the right, out of breath and panting heavily, looks in need of medical care himself.
